What it ships today is directional line-crossing counts and face-recognition events at every monitored door. Security teams use those to compare the number of people who actually walked through against badge swipes, and to see exactly who entered — a practical audit trail for tailgating, not a turnstile.
Can it read license plates in the parking structure?
License plate recognition is not a NeueTrace V3 capability. It is a documented capability of Police.Live, our platform for law-enforcement and high-security sites — automatic ANPR with watchlist matching. Campuses that need plate reads at vehicle gates deploy Police.Live alongside NeueTrace; both process on-premises.
Where is employee and visitor face data stored?
On the NeueTrace edge device on your corporate network. Events stream to a customer-controlled cloud dashboard; cloud reporting is optional and can be disabled for air-gapped sites. Biometric data is not uploaded to any third party, and you set the retention policies.
