Yes. The desktop app is a client for the NeueCode Platform running on your infrastructure — tools execute on your own machine, the server never touches your files, and the same governance applies to every client.

Does it work air-gapped?

Yes. The platform supports fully air-gapped deployment, and updates can be distributed as signed offline packages through your secure media process.

Desktop app vs the VS Code extension?

The app is the full standalone experience (agent chat, workspaces, model picker). The VS Code extension puts the agent inside your editor with native diff approval. Both connect to the same platform under the same governance.

What does it cost?

Licensing is per enterprise deployment — contact sales for sizing. There are no per-token cloud bills: models run on your own GPUs.
